 As I dangle in

As I dangle in your sorrow

I feel as though

I did not cause your misery and heartache

For if you could only see how deeply I cared

You would see an eternity of passion

Nonetheless, you were blind to my love

And for that

This love is at its end,

Taking me down with it.

I am suspended on the edge of a cliff

Your cliff of doleful and dejected love

Only hanging by a strand

This thread of love you provide me

Is slowly breaking.

For when this twine snaps,

I will collapse with it
